We all remember the WWF tag team called ‘Men on a Mission’ which consisted of Mo, Mabel and their rapping manager Oscar. They were pushed as fan favorites or babyfaces during their initial run. Vince McMahon saw big things for the tag team in the mid 1990’s. While Men on a Mission were getting cheered by fans in the arenas…..the team weren’t exactly fan favorites in the locker room. In November of 1986, during a taping of WWF Superstars…The Macho Man Randy Savage defended his Intercontinental Title against Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat. During the course of the match, Savage snapped and brutally attacked Steamboat. First, Savage dropped a double ax handle from the top rope onto the back of Steamboat’s head while draped over the metal barricade. Then Savage dragged an obviously injured Steamboat into the ring and grabbed the time keepers bell. Savage then climbed the top rope and drove the bell into Steamboat’s throat. Continue reading

He started out his wrestling career as a walk on for WWE’s developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling as an unsigned talent. He eventually was signed by WWE and became a wrestler/talk show host/manager who made it up to the main roster.
