It was recently announced that the reality competition series “Tough Enough” is returning to WWE airwaves sometime in 2014. The concept is simple, a host of pro wrestling hopefuls will train and compete to win a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.The WWE network will air the program.
That got me thinking of the past 5 seasons of Tough Enough and the winners of each one.
Season 1 Winners
Maven Huffman and Nidia Guenard
Both winners are currently out of wrestling.
Season 2 Winners
Linda Miles and Jackie Gayda
Both winners are currently out of wrestling.
Season 3 Winners
John Hennigan and Matt Cappotelli
John Hennigan had solid success in the WWE as both Johnny Nitro and John Morrison. Matt Cappotelli was forced to retire after discovering a brain tumor. He currently trains wrestlers in OVW.
Season 4 Winner
Daniel Puder
Daniel Puder is currently out of wrestling
Season 5 Winner
Andy Leavine
Andy Leavine is still semi-active in wrestling.
