Whatever Happened to ECW’s Dudley Brothers?

Brian Damage

When you think of the Dudleys in pro wrestling, your mind will probably go directly to Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley. The ultra successful Dudley Boyz tag team went on to win numerous championships with ECW, WWE and TNA. While it is understandable to immediately think of them….truth is…there were a number of other individuals in the Dudley family. Those are the ones that we focus on in this edition of ‘Whatever Happened To?’

For a much clearer understanding of the entire history of the Dudleys starting out in ECW…I do suggest reading about them here. For now, we look at these other Dudley members and what they have been up to since they were one big happy, dysfunctional “family.”

Dances with Dudley

Adolfo Bermudez was a wrestler who competed in Puerto Rico, Japan and several independent groups. His biggest exposure came while wrestling for ECW as a member of the Dudley Family in 1995-1996. His ring name in ECW was Dances with Dudley. He resides in Long Island, New York and currently works a city job.

Dudley Dudley

Jeff Bradley was trained by the Malenko brothers and was an original member of the Dudley boys in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) His ring name was “Dudley Dudley.” He wrestled all over the world and the independents. He now owns his own business and resides in Florida.

Snot Dudley

Anthony LoManaco was another original Dudley brother known as Snot Dudley. He was with ECW briefly in 1995…but left the promotion after suffering an injury. LoManaco continued his wrestling career for several independent promotions. He is now retired and owns his own business in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Chubby Dudley

Bay Ragni started his wrestling career in 1991. He is most known as portraying the obese “Chubby Dudley” in ECW from 1995 until 1996. Ragni would start his own wrestling company called Liberty All Star Wrestling which folded in 2004. Ragni now resides in Nashville, Tennessee where he is a radio host and does motivational speaking engagements.

Sign Guy Dudley

Lou D’Angeli was a sidekick/manager of the Dudleys known as ‘Sign Guy Dudley.’ He was with the Dudleys from 1995 until 1999. D’Angeli now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and works in marketing.

Spike Dudley

Matt Hyson was the longest tenured Dudley aside from Bubba Ray and D-Von and wrestled with the team in promotions like ECW, WWE and TNA. Hyson is now retired from wrestling and works for a financial institution in Rhode Island with his wife and two children.

Big Dick Dudley

Alex Rizzo was a member of the ECW Dudley family as ‘Big’ Dick Dudley from 1994 until 1999. Rizzo was the largest of the Dudley family members standing 6 ft 7in and weighing 320 pounds. Sadly, Alex Rizzo died from kidney failure in 2002 at the age of 34.

  1. I remember the running gag with Big Dick Dudley was that he supposedly just got back out of jail. They mentioned this it seems like every show, like he was constantly going back to jail, bailing out, then going back again.

  5. Funny how you have a picture of me (recently and as Snot Dudley) but the wrong info for Snot Dudley. I don’t know a Michael Deek. He’s someone who hijacked my Wikipedia page. The business I own is down here in West Palm Beach Florida.
