This Week in Wrestling 2022 Week 25

Brian Damage

It’s Saturday and today we have ’This Week in Wrestling’, the 25th entry of 2022. Today Brian observes Vince McMahon after the latest scandal broke and shares all the best wrestling content from this week.

Vinnie Mac on the Attack

The last week or so has seemingly been a rough one for Vince McMahon and WWE. First, the sex scandal involving hush money to women Vince and John Laurinaitis allegedly slept with. That led to WWE’s Board of Directors launching an investigation into the matter. Vince stepping down as CEO for the time being, but allowed to still run creative. His marriage to Linda McMahon potentially over and has been done for quite some time. A wrongful termination lawsuit he settled out of court with XFL employee Oliver Luck. Various law firms investigating possible insider trading within the company.

All of that, or even some of that…would break a normal person down. Then again, Vince McMahon doesn’t seem to be normal at all. He appeared on Smackdown last Friday and again on Raw on Monday and instead of addressing those issues….welcome everybody to the show. It, like everything else…was business as usual.

It has so far paid off for the company as both shows climbed over the two million viewer mark and made Vince jumping off steps a viral sensation. The man is indifferent to the scandals and bad publicity and has basically spat in the face of all his critics. Regardless how we may feel about him…McMahon simply doesn’t care. Who knows how all of these things will play out over time. Vince may very well be ousted permanently from the company. His family may…what’s left of it…abandon him. One thing is for sure, Vince is the last of the old school promoters. While he may have gone corporate years ago…he still seems to run the company like the old days of the WWF.

I am not saying that is a good thing or a bad thing. What I am saying is that once Vince McMahon goes…pro wrestling/sports entertainment will never be the same again. Some may feel that is a good thing and other will consider it bad. One thing is for certain, Vince has done whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted and never batted an eyelash.

The best meme of Vince I have seen so far…K Pop Style!

The NWO Wolfpac just jumped the shark!

I didn’t create this meme, but to clarify…Vince never paid for sex in this situation. He paid for the women to keep quiet. Still, it cost more than the purchase of WCW.

This is is great. Fight Forever…literally.

Nick Khan is one step closer to ruling WWE

Yikes.

  1. Please, never show Nia Jax like that ever again. Are you seriously trying to blind your readers?

All of those people cheering for Mr. Meekmahan like that is proof that they’re nothing more than a bunch of sheep. They will praise him no matter how bad the content is as if they are content with eating shit sandwiches every day. And to think, I thought the scene of people eating shit in Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom was obscene. I was wrong.
